Abstract
The study of the spatial variation of the population in terms of (population size, growth, distribution and geographical distribution) in rural settlement centers is one of the human factors that affect the determination of road routes in general and rural roads and their extension in particular, because the population is the road users on the one hand and they are dependent on them in economic activities On the other hand, as the road plan depends on the construction and extension of roads on an economic feasibility study, and highlights the role of the population and their characteristics as an influential factor in road construction through the development of roads and their networks and their comparison with the population, their size and characteristics
